TEMPERS FRAYED.

IN BURMESE PARLIAMENT. RANGOON, Aug. 24. Intense disorder was caused in Parliament as a sequel to the recent riots. Opposition members declared that the militaiy were murderers, and the Premier retorted: “You asked , for them.” The Speaker was forced to suspend the sitting for an hour to allow tempers to cool.

The rioting broke out in Rangoon last month as a result of the publication of a book insulting Buddhists. A policeman was killed and 22 Indians, 11 Burmans, and eight policemen were injured in the original rioting between Buddhist monks and Mohammedans.
