ROTORUA TOURNAMENT. MANAWATU PAIR STILL IN. (By Telegraph—Special to “Standard”) ROTORUA, Aug. 24. The last eight in the Rotorua golf championship arc: R. H. Glading, D. 11. Graham (Manawatu), C. Bailey, E. L. Bartleet, N. H. Amon (Manawatu), 1). H. Craig, H. B. Lusk and L. B. Drummond. The surprise of to-day’s play was the defeat of PI. D. Brinsden (the title-holder) by tile Dannevirke player, L. B. Drummond. Another outstanding result was the defeat of J. P. Mortland by Amon.
