FILM STARS SUSPENDED.
HOLLYWOOD, Aug. 14. Two famous film stars have been suspended by their studios. Paramount has suspended George Raft because he refused to carry out an agreement to play male lead in “St. Louis Blues,” opposite, Dorothy Lam our. Hal Roach has suspended Stan. Laurel, and is -withholding his salary, because the comedian has not reported for work on the current Laurel and Hardy film, “Blockheads.”
