UNDER-SECRETARY RESIGNS.
FROM U.S. TREASURY. NEW YORK, Aug. 24. President Roosevelt has accepted the resignation of Mr Roswell Magill (Under-Secretary of the Treasury). Mr Magill is credited with 57 shaping many of the New Deal fiscal and tax policies. He is to resume his professorship of Law at Columbia University.
