REMAND ON BAIL.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Aug. 23Michael Stewart, a jockey, aged 23, was arrested this morning on a charge of breaking and entering a counting house in Porisonbv Road and committincr theft. When he appeared in the Police Court the police applied for a remand until August 29, Counsel said Stewart was a licensed jockey and bail could be provided. The police asked that it be substantial, and bail was fixed at £l5O.
