EARL AVINTERTDN’S NEW POST. (British Official Wireless.)’ - , RUGBY, June. 23. The Prime Minister. (Mr Chamberlain) announced in the House of Commons that, in view: of . the volume and importance of the work of the Home Offiec in connection with air raid precautions, Earl AVintqrton had agreed to help the Home Secretary with the other work of his department, both at the Home Office and in the House, thus enabling tho Under-Secretary (Mr Geoffrey Llovd) to devote practically the whole of his time to : assisting the Home Secretary in conducting air raid precautions business.
