BULLS.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, June 22. At a meeting of the Bulls District Young Farmers’ Club Mr .C. B. Anderson presided. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs C. E. Vile, G. de Burgh, L. Gray and W. Jurgens. In the absence of the advisory president (Mr C. E. Vile), Mr S. J. Avery assisted. Arrangements were made for a visit to the freezing works at Feilding, where chilling operation will be observed. Two new members, Messrs W. Sutherland and T. Rogers, were nominated, The chairman referred to the excellent manner in which the three football teams had represented the club in the seven a-side tournament. Mr Hill-Motion, of Rata, delivered an address on the diseases of sheep. Ti.e following will represent the Rangitikei Golf Club against Feilding, at Feilding, on Saturday: N. Amon, G., Drew, J. S. Tricker, 11. A. Signal, R. J. Carter, A. W. Amon, A. K. Drew, E. Carter, G. Clark, G. Bertram, N. S. Prichard, S. Rich, L. A.' Sadler, J. G. Mitchell, F. S. Collier, IC. Pearce, M. Willis and W. Pearce. Oh Tuesday a return match was played at Bulls between Bulls and Shannon cribbage clubs, Bulls leading by three games at the interval, and winning by 18 games on the aggregate. * Bulls and Taikorea basketball teams played on Wednesday, in heavy rain, Taikorea winning by 17 goals to 5.
