EMPIRE DAY.
/ ROYAL COMMAND CONCERT. (British Official Wireless.) Received May 27, 8.5 a.m. RUGBY, May 25. As part of the Empire Day celebrations yesterday a Royal Command concert was given in the Albert Hall, London, in the presence of Their Majesties the King and Queen. Nearly 2000 singers and players from different parts of the country contributed to the representative programme of British music. An Empire Day dinner, which was given by the Empire societies, was attended by the Duke of Kent.
