Mr A. E. Palmer, stock inspector, in the Department of Agriculture, at Feilding, who for the past twelve years has been stationed here, has been transferred to Stratford and takes up his new duties within a fort-
night. During his term at this centre Mr Palmer -lias carried out lus worn ill an able manner, and farmers anu his many friends will wish him success in his new sphere. Mr )<• Wins, of Stratford, replaces Mr Palmer at Feilding. , , , ~ Two representative hockey teams from Feilding journeyed to Tailiape yesterday for matches against iaihape. The women’s team was defeated by three goals to nil while the men’s team played to a draw, the setfres being three all. Old Boys’ hockey teams for tomorrow are:— A Team: J. Packer, F Liddle, D. McMurray, R. Strawbridge, A. Packer. B Team: A. Hendrv, D. Domett, W. Stephensen, H. Coupe, T. James. Teams are to be on the grounds at 2.1 o p.m. shaip.
