Lady’s slip.—Here we see how a famous American underwear designer plans the very latest in dainty slips—a style which is form-fitting at the bust, waist-line and hips, but cut to provide freedom at the hem. For practical purposes this style will make up well in lingerie cotton. For more luxurious undergarments you may prefer rayon, silk, or satin.
Practical Frock and Underwear
For afternoon wear. —Here is a style which will have a strong appeal to the outdoor girl, as it is appropriate for wear upon almost any occasion, and can be planned with short or threequarter sleeves. It can be relied upon to look well when made up in any fabric in keeping with the season. Pockets are arranged to emphasise the panel front on the skirt.
Princess slip.—The princess slip of to-day has to be planned with extreme care to ensure that it will provide the right line and fit snugly under the currents season’s frocks. That is why the style illustrated will have such a strofig appeal. It is cut to provide shapeliness at the bust, to fit an unruffled waistline, and to provide fullness at the hem.
