TANGIMOANA.
(From Our Own Correspondent ) TANGIMOANA, April 18. It was with the deepest regret that residents learned of the passing of Mr Harry jj. Kirkham, formerly of Tangimoana. The j deceased gentleman will be much missed by a large number of friends, both young , and old, with whom he came in contact. I His occupation for the past few years had , been to convey the children to the Palmerston North schools; he was particularly j well-known and much respected. Mr Kirk--1 V‘ am . saw a . l°ng- War service of four years i joining with the No. 1 Machine Gun •Squadron, and was a member of the I Legion of Frontiersmen. Horn at Eski dale. Hawke’s Bay, he was the third son jof Mr Walter J. 11. Kirkham and the ! late Mrs Kirkham; he lived at .Pourere | immediately after his return from the War. and then at Waipawa before coming to this district. He leaves a widow and one daughter to whom have been offered sincere condolences. The services at both St. Andrew’s Church, Palmerston North, and at the graveside were conducted by Rgv. Mr Robson, of Waipawa.
