WAGE LEVEL RISES.
BRITISH LABOUR FIGURES. (British Official Wireless.) Received April 21, 10.15 a.m. RUGBY, April 20. The Ministry of Labour survey shows that during 1937 there was a marked rise in the general level of wage rates. The number of workers whose wages increased and the total amount of the increase were greater than in any yeai since 1920.
