MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
In the Afagistrate’s Court to-day, before Air J. L. Stout, S.AL, John Askew Bell, aged 48, a labourer, from England, was charged that on F ehruarv 25 at Palmerston North, he did steal an ornamental dog and two statuettes of a value of £lO 6s, the property of the Art Cabinet Company. Air A. At. Ongley appeared for accused and on the application of SeniorSergeant .Mclntyre accused was remanded to appear on Monday.
