NO FOREIGN OFFICE PURGE
STAFF TO REMAIN. Received March 2, 12.15 p.m. LONDON, Mar. 1. The Australian Associated' Press says: Mr R. A. Eden's personal staff will carry on in the same capacity with Lord Halifax, the new Foreign Secretary. This disposes of rumours that tW Premier (Mr Chamberlain) contemplated a "purge" in the Foreign Office by the transference of the staff to embassies and elsewhere.
