LORD CRANBORNE’S VIEW. LONDON, Feb. 27. “I am not here to apologise or excuse myself. On the contrary I have never been more certain that I was right,” declared Lord Cranborne (former Foreign Under-Secretary), addressing the South Dorset Conservative Council. “Mr Eden took his decision because ho believed the issue was fundamental. I am most proud to be associated with that decision.”
