MUNICIPAL ELECTION.
! MAYOR MAY RETIRE. In an interview with a “Standard” representative this morning regarding the municipal election in Feilding this year, the Mayor (Mr T. Collins) said that it was most unlikely that he woidd accept nomination for a further term in the Mayoral chair, and he intimated that with the Mayoress (Mrs Collins) he will be leaving for a trip to the Dutch Indies on Easter Saturday and will be absent from Feilding for several months.
