OBITUARY.

MRS A. LAMMAS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) SANDON, Feb. 27. On Thursday evening, February -24. at the Palmerston North Hospital, there passed away an old resident of the district, Mrs Georgina Lammas. Mrs Lammas was born at Anglrford, Kent, 65 years ago, and came to New Zealand at the ago of four years with her parents, Mr and Mrs G. A. Wray, who settled in Oamaru. Mrs Lammas was married twice, her first husband being the late Mr Peter Young, who predeceased her over two years ago. She was recently married to Mr Archibald Lammas. In 1894 Mrs Lammas and her first husband came to the Manawatu district, where she had resided ever since. Mrs Lammas passed away after being an inmate of the hospital for only two days, her death coming as a great shock 'to her friends and relatives. She leaves to mourn their loss a husband, a daughter ,Mrs J. AV. Meyer, Sanson), and two sons, Mr Neil Young, of laiaparaumu, and Mr George young, ot Wanganui, also one brother, Mr R. ft. AA’ray, of the South Island.
