FEILDING STOCK SALE.

AUCTIONEERS’ REPORT. The Associated Auctioneers report on the Feilding sale as follows:—Tlio offering of some 20,000 sheep consisted principally of breeding ewes of all classes. The inquiry for two-tooths was fully up to that ruling at the ewe fair, and, although bidding was inclined to be erratic, all good quality, well-grown lots were keenly competed for. In the aged ewe section four and five-year ewes maintained last week’s rates, broken mouth sorts being slightly easier. There was a vory keen demand for store lambs, values appreciating by from Is 6d to 2s on late sales. Fat wethers ‘ were slightly easier, while prime fat ewes were n shado higher. A normal entry of beef, mostly ex-dairy sorts, showed an improvement, while boner cows wore in very keen demand

with a further hardening in values. Only two small pens of steers of mixed quality wero on salo arid, although passed at auction, were sold privately.
