Miss I. Hart, of Palmerston North, is spending a holiday in Queenstown. Mrs L. Thompson and Mrs D. Payne and family, of Glen Orqua, have returned home after a holiday spent at the beach. Mr amp Mrs W. M. Thom, of Palmerston North, leave to-day to spend a holiday at Christchurch, proceeding via Pieton and Blenheim.

Mr find Mrs W. N. Perry, of Bruntwood, Cambridge, are the guests of Mr and Mrs J. D. Aiteliison, of Opiki. Miss Audrey Black, daughter of Mr and Mrs AV. tf. Black, of Argyle Avenue, Palmerston North, left this week for Canterbury University College, where she -will further her studies in fine arts. At the meeting of the Manawatu Women’s Club yesterday a welcome back was accorded Mrs It. A. Fuller on her return from a visit to Australia, and to Mrs J. Cunninghame and Miss Cunninghame, who were present after a long absence. A pair of Suedette Gloves will see you through this season.
