FRENCH MINISTER
OFFERED TO RESIGN. ACCORD WITH MR EDEN. CABINET REFUSAL. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received February 24, 9-20 a.m. - PARIS, Feb. 23.
It is confirmed that M. Delbos (Foreign Minister) offered to resign yesterday, because of his close collaboration with Mr Eden’s policy. The Ministers unanimously refused to -accept. M. Delbos told t the Chamber's Foreign Affairs Committee that, if the Anglo-Italian talks succeeded, France would consider similar discussions subject to certain guarantees. M. Delbos now denies that he intended to resign, says a later cablegram.
