FEILDING GOLF CLUB.
ANNUAL REPORT. The annual report of the Feilding Golf Club reads inter alia: —. “The committee records a year of progress with substantial improvements to the course and its equipment. Work on the course was pursued steadily and a sub-committee undertook beautifying work which should eventually enhance the propery. The usual inter-club competitions were held and the season. from a playing point of view, was in every way successful. Championships: (Men, senior. K. G. Salmond; intermediate, A. C. Evans; junior, L. J. Webster. Brown Cup, A. C. McCorkindale. Ladies: senior, Miss I. Seifert; junior. Mrs E. E. Short. Brown Cup: Mrs C. H. Tate. Under the rules Messrs Gorton and Harding retire from the committee, but are eligible for re-elec-don. These vacancies, together with other official positions, will require to be filled at the annual meeting. Mr A. H. Maguire, the auditor, is also eligible for re-elec'tion. The committee places on record its appreciation of the assistance received from the ladies’ committee throughout the season.”
