A RECIPE.
PINEAPPLE AND ORANGE SALAD Take 1 tin pineapple slices, 2 or 3 oranges, sugar. Cut the pineapple into ’ chunky pieces and put into a dish with the oranges—the latter peeled and quartered. Boil the pineapple syrup for a few minutes with a little sugar to thicken it, and when cold pour it over. If liked, the pineapple slices can be arranged on individual plates,, with quarters of orange placed on them and a glace cherry in the centre. Serve with cream.
