CROQUET.
AITKEN CUP MATCH. Seven players from the Takaro Ladies’ Croquet Club visited Feilding on Tuesday to play a return match with Oroua Club for the Aitken Cup, which they have held for the past three seasons. Oroua were successful in regaining the trophy on the aggregate points. The visitors were entertained at luncheon and afternoon tea. •The following are the results, Takaro players being mentioned first: Miss Tennant and Mrs Bovis 11 v. Mesdames Aitken and Pearson 26. Mesdames Russell and Smith 26 v. Mesd.ames Mitchell and Alsop 22. Mesdames Christie and Spooner 14 v. Mesdames Price and Boulds 26. . Mesdames Tennant and Boves 11 v. Mesdames Aitken an Pearson 26. Totals.—Takaro, 23 points; Oroua, 63.
