Y According to the latest returns there are now 3516 men engaged in the State housing scheme in the Dominion, Mr J. A. Lee, Parliamentary Undersecretary in charge of Housing, said yesterday. This figure does not take cognisance of those indirectly employed in allied trades as the result of the Government’s undertaking, such as brick and tile makers, timber mills, sasli and door manufacturers and so on.
