' These anxieties, coupled with Mr Eden’s resignation, have aroused tlie gloomiest forebodings and tho conviction in the policy that firmness to protect France’s security was never more essential. JEWS ANXIOUS. SITUATION IN AUSTRIA. VIENNA, Feb. 26. Several clashes occurred to-day between Nazi and anti-Nazi University students. The police confined their activities to separating the combatants and keeping traffic moving. Anxiety is spreading among the Jews. Some are trying to sell their properties.
