OBITUARY.
, MR THOMAS I. BODDY. The death occurred suddenly at Levin on Sunday of Mr Thomas I. Boddy, who was well known in the Manawatu. The deceased gentleman was walking over Mr S. Sloan’s property, on Foxton Road, late in the afternoon, when he collapsed and pasesd away. Born at Turakina sixty-two years ago, the late Mr Boddy lived for some time in the Feilding and Bunnytliorpe districts. He went to Levin some years, ago and was manager of Hon. Edward Newman’s property on Foxton Road, known as “Kai Kai.” Leaving there during the years of the Great War, he he went to Hunterville, where he had charge of the “Mount View” and “Otiwhiti” stations. He returned to Levin some eight years ago and had lived in semi-retirement at the Village Settlement.
