FRENCH AIR ARM.
MINISTER’S CONFIDENCE. Received December 21. 2.12 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 20. The Daily Telegraph’s Paris correspondent says that M. Pierre Cot (Air Minister) reviewed at Arly Aerodrome 56 French aircraft, which returned from manoeuvres throughout the French Empire. A mass flight was completed without a single accident. There was only one forced landing, due to the weather. Altogether the 98 machines covered 437.000 miles. M. Cot said: “You have demonstrated magnificently that our air arm is able to defend our Colonial possessions. It is good that this demonstration should be made at the present moment.”
