ITALY’S FINANCES.
INCREASED DEFENCE VOTE.
Received December 16, 11.15 a.m, ROME, Dec. 15
Cabinet has approved the following estimates: Navy, £21,500,000; Army, £28,000,000; Air Force, £14,000,000. The figures all represent increases. Italy’s adverse balance for the nine months amounts to £42,000,000 compared with the year’s estimate of £32,000,000.
