(British Official Wireless.) ■ Received December 16, 10.10 a.m. RUGBY, Dec. 15. The Prime Minister’s rebuke of the prophets of the approaching depression, in answer to a question in the House of Commons, is regarded as timely and justified by economic experts. Sir William Larke, a director of the British Iron and Steel Federation, stated yesterday that there were no signs of any tradb recession in Britain. Many producers were fully engaged well into next year and many consumers forecast increasing consumption during 1938.
