WEIDMANN’S CONFESSION. Received December 15, 1.57 p.m. PARIS, Dec. 14. The police to-day dug up the body of Madame Jeanne Keller at a spot indicated by Eugene Weidmann, the man who confessed to the murders at the villa of Saint Cloud, in the forest of Fontainbleau. Weidmann has retracted the confession that he murdered Roger Leblond, for which he blames his associate Roger Millions, but Millions denies that he murdered Leblond.
A message despatched from Paris on Monday stated that Weidmann had also confessed that he murdered Madame Jeanne Keller, formerly Mile Berst, daughter of a rich farmer at Mundelshien, near Strasbourg, whose photograph was found in Weidmann’s villa.
