(To the Editor.) Sir, —In these proposals I notice the Taipo Road is omitted. This road has been smashed and bashed by heavy lorries for the last six or seven years. All the lorries from Feilding to AVellington have been diverted by this road till it has been cut up and now is left to the mercy of the elements. I notice roads of much less importance are included in the proposals. However, it is up to Taipo Road residents to turn the loan down unless this road is included in the proposals.
