PREPARING FOR ELECTION.
MR LYSNAIt TO STAND AGAIN. Per Press Association. GISBORNE, Dec. -10. The former member for Gisborne, Mr W. D. Lysnar, intends to contest the. seat at the next election as an Independent Nationalist. The Nationalist Party is strongly organised in the electorate and it is expected to nominate its own candidate. For the Bay of Plenty electorate Mr J. T. Merry has already announced himself as fin Independent Nationalist. Mr-H. J. F, Tombleson, a prominent local body member, has intimated his willingness to allow his name to go into the official Nationalist ballot, and it is expected that other nominees will be forthcoming.
