ORIENT LINE.
NEW GENERAL MANAGER.
The managers of the Orient Line announce that Mr D. L. Dowdell lias, expressed his desire to retire from the position of general manager of tlie line in Australia, a position lie lias filled with success for eighteen years. This has been agreed to with great regret and to take effect as from the end of the year. Mr A. W. Johnson, the present branch manager in Sydney, who has been associated with the company for 37 years, has been appointed general manager as from January 1, 1938. Mr L. J. Morsliead has been appointed branch managei in Sydney, and Mr R. H. Norman branch manager in Melbourne, both as from January 1 next.
