SALE OF WETHERS.

Dalgety and Coy., Ltd., report on their annual wether sale, held in Mr C. T. Keeble’s yards at Fitzlierbert, on December 7, when an entry of 1600 came to hand in good order. Competition at any stage was not keen, but a satisfactory sale resulted with p'ractically a total clearance. The following are the main sales : —Twotooth wethers : Account Mr G. W. Brown (Kahauterawa), 21s Gd; account Mr W. J- Harris (Fitzlierbert), 21s 9d; account Mr W. L. Elliott (Fitzberbert), 20s 9d : account Mr W. A. ' Sutherland (Fitzlierbert), 21s 6d. Four-tooth wethers: Account Mr A. Honore, 22s 4d. Other small lines of B. 2-tooths, 19s Id, 19s 4d, 23s 9d; small 2-tooth wethers, 16s, 17s, 19s Gd.
