BRIDE-TO-BE HONOURED.

Mrs AV. J. Coman and Miss M. Coman were hostesses at a kitchen evening, at their home in Boundary.Road', to Aliss Alargaret AVright, whose marriage to Mr Claud Edmonds takes place shortly. The time was spent pleasantly in playing games, and dancing, the music for • winch was supplied by Mrs Avison, Misses B. and R. Coman and Mr L. Bennett (piano accordion). Air AV. Beavis was the winner of a competition (telegrams;; jumbled names, Aliss AVright; Mon to Carlo, Aliss M.' Purdon and Aliss It. Coman. After supper, Aliss Coman called on Aliss AVright to accept the

numerous parcels, the opening of which caused much merriment. Mr Edmonds returned thanks on behalf of his fiancee for the beautiful array of kitchen utensils their friends had brought along, and also thanked Airs and Aliss Coman for the pleasant evening. The young' couple were accorded musical honours.

On Thursday evening Aliss Aleryle Wright was hostess at a pantry and bathroom party given in honour of her sister, Alargaret. The .time was. spent pleasantly playing games and competitions. A solo was sung by Aliss Pauline AlcKain and pianoforte solos were played by Air L). Morris and Aliss AI. Edmonds. After supper, Aliss AVright was called upon to open the large basket of parcels which her friends had brought along, the result of which will he a well stocked pantry of very useful commodities. The bathroom was also well catered for by numerous friends and well-wishers of the prospective bridegroom. Air Edmonds returned thanks on behalf of his future wife for the wonderful array of poods and good wishes bestowed upon them. He also thanked Aliss Aleryle AVright for the very enjoyable evening they had all spent. The young couple were accorded musical honours.
