CHARGE FOR COLLECTION

The charge to he made by the Mines Department for collecting goldfields revenue on behalf of local authorities is to be reduced from 10 per cent to o per cent, as a result of an amendment recommended by the Governor-General, under the Constitution Act, to the I Mining Amendment Act recently passed liy Parliament.
