LONDON WOOL SALES.
EASIER TENDENCY IN MARKET
Wright Stephenson and Company, Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having received cable advice from their London house regarding the wool sales as follows;—The salo3 continued before an average attendance of buyers and tiie market remained unchanged, or, it anything, a little lower. Continental and Bradford buyers were the chief operators. An averago selection of wools was ottered. We quote the following prices:— Greasy Merino, 60 to 641 b, yielding 4b per cent., 12jd. . Greasy half bred, 50 to 561 b, yielding 68 per cent., 13d. . Greasy fine crossbred, 46 to 481 b, yielding 75 per cent., llid. Greasy medium crossbred, 44 to 4blh, yielding 75 per cent. llid. , Greasy crossbred, 40 to 44ib, yielding 76 per cent., lid. Greasy coarse crosshred, 36 to 40tb, vielding 76 per cent., lid. Greasy crossbred lambs, 46 to 501 b, yielding: 74 per cent., Hid;. Australian Merino prices were from par to 5 per cent, lower, while crossbreds declined 5 per .cent., with scoured prices at par. Good topmaking wools were id above ordinary grades. Nothing was offering ■in halfbred wool. The sales close on November 26.
