RANGIOTU

The Women’s Institute drama circle presented a programme of four plays and several musical items to a full house. The opening item was a pianoforte duet by Mr and Mrs T. Attwood. Those taking part in a dramatic presentation were Mrs Wilkinson, Miss Russell and Messrs Russell and Pierce. Vocal numbers were presented by Miss M. Feist. Wilkinson) reported that the roll number was nearing the 80 mark. The chief inspector (Mr W. J. Boden), who had visited the school, had been pleased with the progress of the pupils. Mr R. A. Robbie, the agricultural instructor, had visited the school, as had the Wanganui Education Board’s medical officer (Dr. Platts-Mills).
