(From Our Own Correspondent.) POHANGINA, Nov. 22. On Saturday, a tennis team from Colyton paid a visit to Pohangina. The visitors took the honours bv a small margin, the games being well contested. The friends of Airs J. D. Galvin, of Pohangina, who recently underwent an operation in a private hospital in Palmerston North, will be pleased to learn that she is making satisfactory _ progress towards recovery. Sympathy wi.l be extended to Airs Galvin in the passing of her sister, Airs A. Gilmour, whose death took place locently. Air A. Hcwson, of New Plymouth, is the guest of Mr H. Moar, of Pohangina. Air and Airs Tews, of Palmerston North, who have been on a visit to Pohangina, returned to the city last week. Airs Smart, sonr.. is the guest of her son, Mr 11. ll* Smart, of Awaliou South.
