AIR SERVICE.
BRITAIN TO AUSTRALIA. Received November 25, 11.55 a.m. CANBERRA, Nov. 25. The air mail service with flying boats between Britain and Australia may be able to start early in the New Year, in spite of the delay in the construction of the bases. Mr J. A. Lyons, ’Prime Minister, said the Commonwealth would do everything possible to hurry the start of the service and if the cost was not too high temporary facilities would probably be provided at Hobart.
