MIGRATION PLANS.
CO-OPERATION NEEDED. DEPUTATION TO PREMIER. LONDON. Nov. 24. The Australian Associated Press correspondent states that, replying sympathetically to the deputation which submitted resolutions passed at the Migration Conference, Mr Chamberlain promised to consult the Secretary for the Dominions immediately, after which he would communicate with the deputation. Mr Chamberlain said nothing could be achieved without the active cooperation of the Dominions, which so far, for reasons they regarded as good and sufficient and which he did not question, had been disinclined to cooperate, but the matter was so important that he was convinced further effort was desirable in conjunction with the Dominions to see whether something could not be done.
