BREACH OF CONTRACT.
CASE AGAINST MINERS. LONDON, Nov. 22. Damages ranging from 10s to £3 each have been awarded at Doncaster against 1835 miners for breach of contract arising from, lightning strikes. In respect to 1643 men, it was stated that they had objected to the owners moving the lamp-room closer to the coal-face to simplify the working of the colliery. The arrangement inconvenienced no one. In consequence of the strikes, of which there had been 57 yearly, the company had lost an output of 13,600 tons. ,
