BOY KILLED.
DRAGGED BY PONY. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, Nov. 23. .Bertie James Morrison, aged 13, of Okaramio, sustained fatal injuries when he was dragged by a pony on his grandmother’s farm yesterday afteiv noon. He was unable to reach the stirrup irons. Morrison was riding with his feet in the leathers when one stirrup caught in a half-opened gate, throwing him off the pony, one foot entangling in the leather top. The ponv bolted with the boy banging head-down. He suffered severe head injuries, succumbing soon after the doctor’s arrival from Havelock.
