GIRLS’ CLUB.
END OF SEASON DANCE.
The Feilding Girls’ Club held its final dance of the season on Monday evening in the Parish Hall, when over 200 young people were present. The hall was decorated with gold and blue streamers, while the stage was transformed to represent a garden. Misses N. Mills and N. Silcock, the joint secretaries, were responsible for the unique decorations. A professional orchestra was relieved at supper time by Mr It. Loggc. Mr P. Silcock carried out the duties of M.C. Miss Betty Moore and partner won the Monte Carlo waltz. A strong ladies’ committee was responsible for the buffet supper arrangements. The function was a marked success, as were also two similar functions hold earlier in the season.
