FRENCH PLOT
ACTIVITIES OF CAGOULARDS. TWO THOUSAND SUSPECTED. IMPORTANT ARREST. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received November 23, 8.5 a.m. PARIS, Nov. 22. Army officers -are declared to be involved in tlie Cagoulards’ plot. The first bint of tlie plot is said to have come from Colonel de la Roque, after the plotters bad been active for. at least three months. A Surete detective states that 20u0 people are under suspicion. Twenty-one have been taken prisoner and charged with the illegal possession of arms. Several liavo been detained for questioning. The police attach importance to the arrest on Saturday of Jean Moreau Delameuse, allegedly “War Minister.” All roads to Paris were closely watched at the week-end.
