ATHLETIC AND CYCLING CLUB.
The committee of the Feilding Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club met last evening, Mr F. Dalzell presiding. It was decided that the first club night this season be held to-morrow at Kowliai Park. A letter was received from the Feilding Cricket Association stating i that the club’s request for the use of Kowliai Park for club nights and training purposes, had been granted subject to certain regulations.—The chairman said that the club was now free to make a start with training, etc. The following programme was arranged for to-morrow : —Cycling: Half mile, one mile and two miles. Running: 100yds., 220yds., and 440yds.; also children’s events, including a walking race. Officials were appointed as follow: Handicapper, Mr F. Dalzell; starter, Mr M; Wildhore; judges, Messrs McG.regor and Davis; track stewards, Messrs McCardle and Allen. i
