FLOWER SHOW

FUNCTION AT AOKAUTERE. The Aokautere Women’s Institute held a successful Flower Show last week. There was a largo entry from members of sister institutes, and to these ladies and all others who assisted so generously, the president (Mrs A. Groves) wishes to extend grateful thanks. The show was officially opened by Mrs T. Lynch, of Linton, a member of the exeoutivo committee, who congratulated all on tho excellent quality and number of entries. The judges were: Needlework, thrift and knitting soctions, Mesdames Short and Barnicoat; cooking and home produco, Mrs 'Wiggins; ana cut flowers, decorative, and vegetable sections.
