IMPRESSED WITH AUSTRALIA.
HON. R. SEMPLE PLEASED,
SYDNEY, Aug. 29.
Interviewed before ids departure, Hon. R. Semple said that Australia had progressed enormously since his last visit. Australia, well governed, should become a principal bulwark of the Empire. He was impressed with its magnificent resources. If Australia had New Zealand’s climate it would bo the most fertile country in the world.
