VESSEL FIRED ON.
BY INSURGENT TRAWLERS
Received August 30, 9.25 a.m. LONDON Aug. 29. The Admiralty states that two insurgent trawlers fired warning shots at the Bramhill from Brest, in the neighbourhood of Gijoti. The Bramhill did not consider that she was within territorial waters and continued her voyage, after which two more warning shots were fired. TI.M.S. Fearless arrived and the incident closed after an exchange of signals.
