Mr Andrew Mellon’s fortune is estimated at 500,000.000 dollars, including interests transferred to his children during his lifetime. A British Official Wireless message from Rugby states that the Government has sent a message to the United States Government expressing the deep reo-ret with which it has learned ot the death of Mr Mellon, whose services to the cause ol Anglo-American friendship are gratefully remembered.
